# Add members (static segments)

`POST /v1/segments/{id}/members`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Add up to 1,000 contacts by email. Only valid for static segments — dynamic membership is computed from conditions.

Add summary.

- object
  - `added` integer, required
  - `missing` string[], required: Addresses with no matching contact.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Not found.
- `422`: Request validation failed (code `validation_error`, 422).
