# Send a draft

`POST /v1/inboxes/{inboxId}/drafts/{draftId}/send`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.volanea.com`
- URL: `https://api.volanea.com/v1/inboxes/{inboxId}/drafts/{draftId}/send`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sends it (or schedules it, for a future `sendAt`) with every check a direct send has, then deletes the draft. A draft that fails validation stays.

## Response `201`

Sent, queued, or scheduled.

  - `emailId` string, required

  - `to` string, required
  - `status` 'sent' | 'scheduled' | 'queued', required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Not found.
- `422`: Request validation failed (code `validation_error`, 422).
