# List events

`GET /v1/events`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.volanea.com`
- URL: `https://api.volanea.com/v1/events`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

The event log (system and custom events), newest first, cursor-paginated. Requires a secret key.

## Query parameters

- `cursor` string
- `limit` integer
- `name` string
- `contactId` string

## Response `200`

A page of events.

  - `data` Event[], required
    - `eventId` string, required
    - `projectId` string
    - `contactId` string, nullable
    - `emailId` string, nullable
    - `name` string, required: System events use reserved prefixes ("email.", "contact.", "segment.", "workflow."); everything else is yours.
    - `data` object, nullable
    - `createdAt` string, date-time, required
  - `nextCursor` string, nullable, required: Opaque token. Pass back as `cursor` verbatim to fetch the next page; `null` when there are no more rows.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `422`: Request validation failed (code `validation_error`, 422).
