# Update the name and account language; notification settings are portal-only

`PATCH /v1/account`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://volai.cz`
- URL: `https://volai.cz/v1/account`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Updates the name and account language. `locale` controls the language of e-mails and tax documents, NOT the language of this response - REST and MCP always speak English. At least one field is required.

## Request body

- object
  - `name` string: Account display name; omission leaves it unchanged.
  - `locale` 'cs' | 'en': Account language for email and portal preferences, cs or en. API responses remain English.
  - `companyName` string: Company name spoken in an agent's default greeting, up to 80 characters. An empty string clears it; omission leaves it unchanged.
