# Remove a participant from a talk chat

`DELETE /service_agents/talk_chats/{id}/participants/{participant_id}`

Removes a specific participant from a talk chat.

## Path parameters

- `participant_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Participant removed successfully.

- TalkManagerParticipant
  - `id` string, uuid: The unique identifier of the participant.
  - `customer_id` string, uuid: The unique identifier of the customer. Returned from the `GET /customers` response.
  - `owner_type` string: Resource's owner type.
  - `owner_id` string, uuid: The unique identifier of the participant owner. Returned from the corresponding owner resource endpoint.
  - `chat_id` string, uuid: The unique identifier of the talk this participant belongs to. Returned from the `GET /service_agents/talk_chats` response.
  - `tm_joined` string, date-time: Timestamp when the participant joined the talk.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request (INVALID_ARGUMENT).
- `401`: Authentication required (UNAUTHENTICATED).
- `403`: Insufficient permission (PERMISSION_DENIED).
- `404`: Resource not found (NOT_FOUND).
- `500`: Internal error (INTERNAL).
