# Get recording playfiles

`GET /recordings/{id}/playfiles`

Retrieves the recording's individual playable audio files with streaming download URLs and precomputed waveform peaks for inline playback.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

The recording's playable files.

- ApiManagerRecordingPlayfile[]
  - `filename` string — The original filename of the recording file.
  - `direction` '' | 'in' | 'out' — The audio direction of the file. Populated as `in` or `out` only when the recording references a call and has separate directional files; empty for confbridge or single-file recordings.
  - `uri_download` string — Signed streaming URL for the audio file, suitable as an HTML audio element source.
  - `tm_download_expire` string, date-time — Timestamp when the download URL expires.
  - `filesize` integer — The size of the audio file in bytes.
  - `duration` number, double — The duration of this audio file in seconds, computed from the WAV header. 0 when the header could not be parsed.
  - `peaks` number[] — Precomputed waveform peak values (absolute amplitude magnitude, 0.0 to 1.0) for the whole file, for rendering a waveform without downloading the audio. Empty when peak computation failed; playback still works via uri_download.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request (INVALID_ARGUMENT).
- `401` — Authentication required (UNAUTHENTICATED).
- `403` — Insufficient permission (PERMISSION_DENIED).
- `404` — Resource not found (NOT_FOUND).
- `500` — Internal error (INTERNAL).
- `503` — Upstream unavailable (UNAVAILABLE).
