# Send one or more SMS. Each \`messages\` item has \`to\` (phones), \`body\`, optional \`sender\`. One item with multiple \`to\` = same text to all; multiple items = separate messages. Every send is persisted to SMS history.

## Request body

- object: Send one or more SMS. Every message sent is persisted to SMS history.
  - `messages` object[], required: One or more SMS batches. One item with multiple `to` = same message to everyone; multiple items = different text or recipient groups.
    - `to` string[], required: Recipient phone numbers (E.164 recommended, e.g. +306912345678). Multiple numbers = same `body` sent to each.
    - `body` string, required: SMS message text
    - `sender` string: Sender ID to present to recipients. Omit to use the company default. Use /sms/list-senders for available IDs.

## Response `200`

Send result for the SMS batch

- object
  - `status` 'success' | 'error', required: Overall result of the send request.
  - `message` string: Error detail when status is "error"; omitted on success.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Invalid CSRF
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal Server Error
