# Rename a song

`PATCH /songs/{id}`

## Request

Changes the display name. Nothing else about a song is mutable: stored objects are keyed by id, so a rename never moves any audio.

- `400`: `INVALID_REQUEST` — The request body or query failed validation.
- `401`: `UNAUTHORIZED` — Missing, malformed, or revoked API key.
- `404`: `NOT_FOUND` — No such song, or it belongs to another account.
- `429`: `RATE_LIMITED` — Too many requests for this API key.
