# Chat Messages

`GET /v1/chat/messages`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.vlm.run` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.vlm.run/v1/chat/messages`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Get the chat messages or history for a session.

Supports both authenticated and public (unauthenticated) requests.
- Authenticated users can access their own chats or public chats
- Guest users can only access public chats
- Superusers can access any chat
- Token-bearing sessions require a matching session_token for non-owner access
