# Read customer-facing AI tone, personality and instructions

Discover current business-wide personalization: tone/baseStyle, emoji, message length, openness to general questions, assistant name, personalized customInstructions, reply auto-pause and updatedAt. runtimePersonalization shows stored fields including legacy verbose and whether a settings row exists; top-level values include dashboard defaults/legacy normalization. compiledSystemPrompt is a dashboard preview, not the full effective runtime prompt. Core policies, retrieved knowledge, property scope, tools, channel and conversation state also apply. These settings belong to guest replies/Playground, not Support Copilot or the managed Business Agent. Use get_conversation_answer_trace for historical saved inputs; current settings alone do not prove why an old answer was generated. Required permission: ai_settings:read. Connected business only; no tenant override.
