# List knowledge sources

`GET /knowledge/sources`

## Request

Discover text/file/URL source IDs and their active state, chunks, scope, property, timestamps and assets. Default status=all; filter query searches title/URL metadata. Follow nextCursor retaining filters. assetsOnly=true discovers shareable uploads; new asset-only uploads have no KB chunks. Use list_knowledge_items/list_knowledge_websites for managed website groups; get_knowledge_source for indexed text, search_knowledge for semantic lookup, and get_knowledge_original_file for the uploaded original. Required permission: knowledge:read.
