# Recover a network submission receipt

`GET /api/v3/network-submissions/{request_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://ai.virustotal.com`
- URL: `https://ai.virustotal.com/api/v3/network-submissions/{request_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-apikey`
  - HTTP bearer

Read the receipt using the same identity and saved request_id, without starting another analysis. A 404 does not establish that a previous POST was never dispatched. Keep an uncertain outcome and recover instead of creating another request.

## Path parameters

- `request_id` string, required: Lowercase UUIDv4 generated and saved before submission. Reuse this ID to recover the receipt; never create a new ID to retry an uncertain POST.
