# Register a new account

`POST /api/v1/auth/register`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://virtualsms.io`
- URL: `https://virtualsms.io/api/v1/auth/register`
- Auth: none required

Create a new VirtualSMS account. After registration, generate an API key in Settings to use the API.

Alternatively, use Google OAuth or Telegram Login available on the web dashboard.

## Request body

- AuthRegisterRequest
  - `email` string, email, required
  - `password` string, required

## Response `201`

Account created successfully

- object
  - `token` string: JWT bearer token
  - `user_id` string, uuid
  - `expires_at` string, date-time
  - `email` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid parameters
- `422`: Validation error
