# GET /v1/account/identity

`GET /v1/account/identity`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.virtuall.pro`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-Api-Key`

## Response `200`

The acting user, their studio role, and its policies

- AccountIdentity
  - `user` object, required
    - `id` string, uuid, required
    - `email` string, nullable, required
    - `name` string, nullable, required
    - `imageUrl` string, nullable, required: Profile picture URL: a pre-signed URL for a stored picture, a public URL passed through unchanged, or null when the user has none (or the stored one could not be signed).
  - `studio` object, required: The studio every request from this caller is scoped to.
    - `id` string, uuid, required
    - `name` string, required
  - `role` object, nullable, required: The caller's role in that studio, or null when they hold none. `id` is null for a legacy role not yet migrated to the policy-role tables.
    - `id` string, uuid, nullable, required
    - `name` string, required
  - `policies` object[], required: Effective grants of that studio role. Empty when no role is assigned. Group-scoped grants are not included.
    - `resource` string, required: e.g. `projects`, `assets`, `generations`.
    - `action` 'read' | 'create' | 'update' | 'delete', required
    - `scope` 'all' | 'owned' | 'assigned', required: `all` — every resource of that type in the studio; `assigned` — only the ones the user is assigned to; `owned` — only the ones they created.

- `401`: Authentication required or invalid
- `403`: Permission denied
- `404`: Resource unavailable or API feature disabled
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Unexpected server error
- `503`: Service temporarily unavailable
