# Get New Posts From Monitored Profiles

`GET /api/v1/tracking/updates`

Returns the posts newly discovered (first stored by our crawler) since your last check, across all the profiles you are monitoring. Free to call. Each call advances a per-profile cursor, so a subsequent call only returns posts crawled after it (a feed, not a re-scan). New posts arrive when a profile's scheduled refresh crawl runs, on the cadence set by track_profile. Results are the same flattened post shape as search_outliers (stats, thumbnail, handle). Total posts are capped (limit 1–100, default 50).

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid or revoked API key (or, on free skills, no key sent); code key_suspended means the key was suspended when its account was claimed by the email owner and can be reactivated in Settings
- `402`: Payment required. Without an API key (billable skills only) the code is payment_required and error.payment.checkoutUrl (or, when no link is configured, error.payment.pageUrl at https://viraloutliers.com/api-access) buys a key without an account; with a key it is insufficient_credits and error.payment points at create_topup_link.
- `429`: Rate limited
