# Delete tags

`DELETE /tags`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1/tags`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes multiple organization tags. Tags still assigned by workflows, or named in a campaign's payout conditions (ended campaigns included), are skipped and reported in `blocked` with the reason.

    - `id` string, required: Organization tag ID with orgtag_ prefix
    - `name` string, required
    - `reason` 'workflow' | 'campaign_conditions', required: `workflow`: an active workflow still assigns the tag. `campaign_conditions`: a campaign's payout conditions (ended campaigns included) name the tag; remove it there first.
    - `campaignNames` string[]: With `campaign_conditions`: the campaigns whose payout conditions name the tag.
