# Associate account with project

`POST /projects/{projectId}/accounts/{accountId}`

Adds a tracked account to a project for organized content tracking and analytics.

**Deprecated.** Assign the project's virtual project tag via account-level tag assignments (`POST /accounts/tracked/tags/bulk`). See the [migration guide](/docs/brands/tags/migration-from-projects).

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, required: Organization project ID with orgproj_ prefix
- `accountId` string, required: Organization account ID with orgacc_ prefix. Not the same as platform account ID.
