# Delete creator

`DELETE /creators/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1/creators/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes a creator from the organization. If the user has not verified their email and this is their only creator profile, the user account will also be deleted. Otherwise, only the creator profile and membership are removed.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The organization creator ID to delete

## Response `200`

OK

- object: Response for deleting a creator
  - `success` boolean, required: Indicates if the operation was successful
  - `deletedUser` boolean, required: Indicates if the user account was also deleted (true when user had unverified email and this was their only creator profile)
  - `message` string: Optional message describing the operation result
