# List when group members read a message

`GET /chat/threads/{chatId}/messages/{messageId}/reads`

Lists when each creator member of a group first read one of your organization's messages, oldest first. Who has read a message comes from `readState.memberReads` on the message list: a member has read every message created at or before their `lastReadAt`, including reads from before read times were recorded, which have no entry here. Empty in direct threads, where the message's `seenAt` is the one read time.
