# Delete a brief

`DELETE /briefs/{id}`

## Request

Permanently deletes a brief. Its audience links, sample references, and read receipts cascade; sample videos the brief created (and nothing else references) are untracked. Silent, like unlinking a campaign: the brief's audience is not notified.

- `id` string, required: Campaign brief ID with orgbrief_ prefix
