# Reply to a job application

`POST /applications/{id}/reply`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1/applications/{id}/reply`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Sends a message to the applicant and optionally transitions the application. Accepting also onboards the applicant as a creator of the organization and grants them creator membership; it is refused (409) when the applicant has no date of birth on file.
