# Update account creator association

`PUT /accounts/tracked/{orgAccountId}/creator`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1/accounts/tracked/{orgAccountId}/creator`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Associates a creator with a tracked account, or clears the association when the creator id is null. Each account carries at most one creator.

## Path parameters

- `orgAccountId` string, required: Organization account ID with orgacc_ prefix. Not the same as platform account ID.

## Request body

- object: Request to assign or clear the creator associated with a tracked account
  - `orgCreatorId` string, nullable, required: Organization creator ID with orgcre_ prefix

## Response `200`

OK

- object: Resulting creator association of the tracked account
  - `orgAccountId` string, required: Organization account ID with orgacc_ prefix. Not the same as platform account ID.
  - `orgCreatorId` string, nullable, required: Organization creator ID with orgcre_ prefix
