# Set competitor flag for tracked account

`PUT /accounts/tracked/{id}/competitor`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1`
- URL: `https://viral.app/api/v1/accounts/tracked/{id}/competitor`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Marks or unmarks a tracked account as a competitor.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Organization account ID with orgacc_ prefix. Not the same as platform account ID.

## Request body

- object: Set whether a tracked account is marked as a competitor.
  - `isCompetitor` boolean, required: Whether the tracked account is marked as a competitor

## Response `200`

OK

- object: Result of setting the competitor flag for a tracked account.
  - `accountId` string, required: Organization account ID with orgacc_ prefix. Not the same as platform account ID.
  - `isCompetitor` boolean, required: Whether the tracked account is marked as a competitor
