# Fire a test delivery

`POST /webhooks/{id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://vineverse.bible/api/v1`
- URL: `https://vineverse.bible/api/v1/webhooks/{id}/test`
- Auth: none required

Sends a real delivery, signed the same way, with `test: true` in the payload. Use it to prove your receiver and your signature check work without waiting for an ingest.

Answers 200 whether or not your endpoint accepted it; `delivered` reports which.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

The test was fired. `delivered` says whether it was accepted.

## Other responses

- `404`: No such subscription, or the secret does not match.
- `429`: Too many requests. Carries Retry-After. See the rate limit note in `info`.
