# Delete a webhook

`DELETE /v2/webhooks/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.village.ai`
- URL: `https://api.village.ai/v2/webhooks/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently delete a webhook by its encrypted id. Deliveries stop immediately and the id is gone for good — if the user only wants to stop deliveries temporarily, use update_webhook with is_active false instead. Returns 404 if the webhook does not exist or belongs to someone else, so deleting the same id twice answers 404 the second time.
