# Send this draft to yourself

`POST /v2/sequences/activities/{activity_id}/test-send`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.village.ai`
- URL: `https://api.village.ai/v2/sequences/activities/{activity_id}/test-send`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sends the draft to the CALLER'S OWN email address so they can check how it renders. The recipient is always the authenticated user — it is never taken from the request — so this endpoint cannot be used to mail anyone else. Tracking pixels and click rewriting are disabled, so a test send never affects the sequence's open or click rates.

## Other responses

- `400`: No sendable sender, or the activity has no draft
- `401`: Unauthorized - missing or invalid authentication
- `404`: Activity not found
- `429`: Too many test emails — try again later
