# Sort Companies

`POST /v2/companies/sort`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.village.ai`
- URL: `https://api.village.ai/v2/companies/sort`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Rank a list of companies by how well-connected you are to people there. Use this to prioritize target accounts by focusing on companies where you have the strongest network. Provide LinkedIn URLs or domains (up to 100) and get them sorted by connection strength score (highest first). Each result includes: score, score_label, LinkedIn URL, and domain. Warmth score, open-ended (higher is warmer): Excellent 10+, Very Good 7.5+, Good 4+, Okay 1+, Maybe 0.1+, below that Not enough data.

## Request body

- CompanySortRequest: Request to sort companies by warmth/connection strength
  - `companies` string[], required: Array of company URLs (LinkedIn URLs or domains)

Companies sorted successfully

    - `score` number, required: Warmth score, open-ended (higher is warmer): Excellent 10+, Very Good 7.5+, Good 4+, Okay 1+, Maybe 0.1+, below that Not enough data.

    - `linkedin_url` string, required: LinkedIn company URL
    - `domain_name` string: Company domain
    - `url` string, required: Original URL provided in request

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - missing or invalid authentication
- `500`: Internal server error
