# Set or clear a due date

`PUT /v1/modules/planner/deadline`

## Request

A deadline is an expectation rather than a record, so it can be set on somebody who has never attempted the training. Pass dueAt: null to clear it.

**Scope:** `modules:write`

  - `applicability` 'undecided' | 'applicable' | 'not_applicable'
  - `notApplicable` boolean

## Response `200`

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Invalid or missing credentials
- `403`: Missing scope (`insufficient_scope`) or quota exhausted (`limit_exceeded`)
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded (60 req/min)
- `500`: Server error
