# File a project

`PUT /projects/{id}/workspace`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.vidmoat.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.vidmoat.com/v1/projects/{id}/workspace`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

File a project into a workspace, or send workspaceId: null to take it out.

A workspace and the project filed in it must be in the same scope: a team project goes in that team's workspace, a personal project in a personal one.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `workspaceId` string, nullable: The workspace, or `null` (or an empty string) to unfile the project.

## Response `200`

File a project

- object
  - `id` string: The project id.
  - `workspaceId` string, nullable: The workspace it is now filed in, or `null` when it was moved out of every workspace.

## Other responses

- `400`: `invalid_request`: The project and the workspace belong to different teams.
- `404`: `not_found`: No such project or workspace.
