# Creates or updates a badge

`PUT /profile/badge`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://auth.viafoura.co`
- URL: `https://auth.viafoura.co/profile/badge`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - OAuth 2
    - Client credentials
    - Token URL: `https://auth.viafoura.io/authorize_client`

Calling this operation will create or update a badge for the site (scope) present in the authentication token.
The payload in this request requires a label that acts as the key for the created badge.
If the label already exists, the remaining badge information will be updated, otherwise a new badge will be created.
Badges must exist before being assigned to users.

## Request body

- BadgeCreateEntity
  - `label` string, required: The unique identifier for the badge being created or updated.
  - `description` string, required: The textual description of the badge, as seen by end users.

## Response `201`

The badge has been created or updated.

## Other responses

- `400`: The badge definition in the body is missing or invalid.
- `401`: The authentication token is missing or has expired
