# List all items

`GET /ext/v2/items/`

## Request

Returns a list of all catalog items. The items are sorted by creation date, with the most recent items appearing first. When using modified filters, results are sorted in descending modification date instead.

The Vetcove catalog has a three-level hierarchy: **Product Line → Product → Item**. An **item** is the most specific level — a particular SKU with a specific size, count, or formulation (e.g., "Heartgard Plus 26-50 lbs, 6-pack"). Each item belongs to a product, which in turn belongs to a product line.

## Query parameters

- `ids` integer[], nullable: When provided, filters to objects with these IDs.
- `ending_before` integer, nullable: A cursor used for pagination. Fetches the page of results ending immediately before the object with the given ID. Cannot be used at the same time as `starting_after`.
- `starting_after` integer, nullable: A cursor used for pagination. Fetches the page of results starting immediately after the given ID. Cannot be used at the same time as `ending_before`.
- `limit` integer: The maximum number of items to return per page.
- `cursor` string, nullable: A cursor token used for pagination. This token contains encoded information about the last seen record in order to continue pagination. Cannot be used with `starting_after` or `ending_before` parameters.
- `modified__gte` string, date-time, nullable: Filters to objects modified on or after this datetime (ISO8601 UTC, e.g. 2025-08-25T10:30:00Z). Cannot be used with `starting_after` or `ending_before` parameters.
- `modified__lte` string, date-time, nullable: Filters to objects modified on or before this datetime (ISO8601 UTC, e.g. 2025-08-25T10:30:00Z). Cannot be used with `starting_after` or `ending_before` parameters.

    - `alt_image_url` string, nullable: Alternative URL to the item's image
    - `created` string, date-time, required: The datetime this object was created.
    - `duration_unit` string, required: Unit of time used to measure the duration value field (days, weeks, months, or years)
    - `duration_value` integer, required: Duration the item is expected to last
    - `etailer_price` integer, nullable: The price of this item at major online retailers, in cents. Used for price comparison.
    - `full_name` string, required: Complete name of the item
    - `id` integer, required: Unique identifier for the catalog item
    - `image_url` string, nullable: URL to the item's image
    - `is_active` boolean, required: Whether the item is active
    - `manufacturer_no` string, nullable: Manufacturer number of the item
    - `modified` string, date-time, required: The datetime this object was last modified; changes to related entities will not update this field.
    - `msrp` integer, nullable, required: Manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of the item, in cents.
    - `name` string, required: Name of the Item itself. For the complete name of the Item, see the full_name field.
    - `product_id` integer, required: ID of the associated product
    - `shopping_path` string, required: URL path to the item's page in the Vetcove client shopping portal
    - `sku` string, required: Stock keeping unit (SKU) identifier for the item
    - `vendor_stock_availability` 'IN_STOCK' | 'BACKORDERED' | 'UNAVAILABLE' | 'UNKNOWN' | 'LOW_STOCK'
    - `weight` number, required: The weight of the Item in ounces
  - `has_more` boolean: Whether there are more pages or data in this list.
  - `next_page` string, required: A URL linking to the next page of this list.
  - `type` string: Type of this object. Always `list`.
