# Remove Favorite

`DELETE /favorites/items/{product_id}`

## Request

Remove a saved product from this buyer's favorites using its product_id from get_favorites, not a basket item_id. Does not remove it from the basket; use remove_cart_item for that. Returns the updated favorites list. OAuth scopes: favorites:write. Changes buyer or order state.

## Path parameters

- `product_id` integer, required: Internal numeric Vesremont product ID returned by catalog search or a product response, not the SKU/article or a basket item ID.
