# The price

`GET /v1/letters/{letter}/price`

## Request

What it costs for everyone on it, in credits (a standard letter is 7, first class 9, abroad 13.5) and by card, and how far your letter credits go.

Permission: **Read only**.

## Response `200`

What it did, as JSON, with the mode it ran in.

- Answer
  - `mode` 'sandbox' | 'live', required: Which the request ran in: the key’s.

## Other responses

- `401`: No key, or one that’s been revoked.
- `404`: There’s nothing with that id, for this key.
- `429`: More than 120 requests in a minute.
