# Stage files needing no special processing to a directory specified by ID, Node, and Batch.

`POST /scrutinize/{ID}/{Node}/{Batch}/files`

This means most files scrutinize gathers, except vertica.log files and archives. The set of
files staged is dependent on the batch. Batches without associated files will return 200 and
stage nothing.
