# Delete a Person of Interest

`DELETE /cameras/v1/people/person_of_interest`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verkada.com`
- URL: `https://api.verkada.com/cameras/v1/people/person_of_interest`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-verkada-auth`
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Deletes a Person of Interest from an organization using a specified person ID.

## Query parameters

- `person_id` string, required: The unique identifier of the Person of Interest.

## Response `200`

OK

- PersonOfInterest
  - `created` integer: The timestamp when the Person of Interest was created. Formatted as a Unix timestamp in seconds.
  - `label` string: The name/label of the Person of Interest.
  - `last_seen` integer: The timestamp when the Person of Interest was last seen. Formatted as a Unix timestamp in seconds.
  - `person_id` string, uuid: The unique identifier of the Person of Interest.
