# Update Camera Audio Status

`POST /cameras/v1/audio/status`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verkada.com`
- URL: `https://api.verkada.com/cameras/v1/audio/status`
- Auth: one of:
 - API key in header `x-verkada-auth`
 - API key in header `x-api-key`

To use the Camera Audio API, you will need to generate an “Camera Audio” API key (separate from Read only and Read/write API keys). This doesn't work if Camera Audio is globally disabled (visit Feature Manager) or if audio is not supported by the camera model.
