# POST /login

`POST /login`

Authenticates the users with the supplied user name and the password.
A JSON Web Token (JWT) is returned that is used for all subsequent API requests

## Request body

- UserPassLoginRequest
  - `userName` string, required: The user account name.
  - `password` string, password, required: The password of the user.
  - `domaintype` string, required: The domain of the user, if it is LDAP/AD/pam/nt.
  - `domainname` string: The domain name.

## Response `201`

Successfully logged in.

- LoginResponse
  - `token` string: The token to use for subsequent API requests.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: The user name or the password is incorrect. Authentication failure.
- `404`: Not Found
