# Create a filesystem

`POST /diskgroups/{DgId}/vsets/{VsetId}/filesystems`

Create filesystem on the volume set

## Path parameters

- `DgId` string, required
- `VsetId` string, required

## Request body

- FilesystemDetailsV2v0
  - `BlockSize` 1024 | 2048 | 4096 | 8192: Size of each filesystem block
  - `LogSize` integer: Number of blocks allocated for logging area
  - `InodeSize` 256 | 512: Size of each on-disk inode
  - `RcqSize` integer: Number of blocks allocated for reference count queue
  - `DLVersion` integer: Disk Layout version of the filesystem
  - `LargeFiles` boolean: Support for files having size greater than 2 gb
  - `MaxLinkSupport` boolean: Support for having more than 64K sub-directories
  - `NodeName` string: Filesystem creation will be triggered from the indicated node if the volume is present on the node.

## Response `200`

The request has succeeded.

- `401`: The requested operation requires authentication.
