# Update a replicated volume group

Perform operations on a replicated volume group

  - `RvgName` string: Replicated Volume Group (RVG) name
  - `Primary` object: Primary RVG details
    - `PrimaryHost` string: Primary site host name (specify secondary hostname to perform migrate PATCH operation)
    - `DgId` string: Disk group identifier
    - `RvgState` string: Indicates the state of the primary RVG
    - `TotalSecondaries` integer: Total secondary RVGs configured in Replicated Data Set (RDS)
    - `FailoverMode` 'migrate' | 'takeover' | 'takeoverwithautofailback': Specify migrate, takeover or takeoverwithautofailback to perform migration, takeover or takeover with automatically use failback logging to convert and synchronize a failed Primary as soon as the failed Primary comes back up after takeover operation respectively
  - `SecondaryHost` string: Secondary site host name or ip address( required while adding online data volume)
  - `Online` boolean: In case of add volume, if user specifies online, then online add volume will be triggered, otherwise rest server would internally check whether volume is online and based on that add volume will be triggered.
  - `Secondary` RvgSecondaryV2v0[]: Secondary RVG details
    - `SecondaryHost` string, uri: Secondary site host name or ip address
    - `SecondaryDgId` string, uri: Secondary site diskgroup identifier
    - `RlinkFromPrimary` string: Replication link from primary
    - `RlinkToPrimary` string: Replication link to primary
    - `ConfiguredMode` 'disable' | 'override': Configured replication mode. Indicates whether replication should operate in synchronous or asynchronous mode ("disable" indicates "off" attribute value in case of PATCH)
    - `CurrentMode` string: Current replication mode
    - `ReplicationStatus` string: Indicates whether Primary data is being replicated to the Secondary (use "start", "stop", "pause", "resume" or "fbsync" keywords to start, stop, pause, resume replication or perform fbsync operation respectively in case of PATCH)
    - `DataStatus` string: Indicates whether the data on this Secondary is consistent or inconsistent with respect to the data on the Primary
    - `TimestampInfo` string: Timestamp information of the secondary RLINK
    - `LoggingTo` string: Displays whether updates to the Secondary are tracked using SRL or DCM
    - `SrlProtection` 'autodcm' | 'dcm' | 'fail' | 'disable' | 'override': SRL protection setting. Indicates whether log protection is enabled for the RLINK
    - `LatencyProtection` 'fail' | 'disable' | 'override': Latency protection setting. Indicates whether latency protection is enabled for the RLINK
    - `LatencyHighMark` string: Sets the maximum number of outstanding requests when latency protection is enabled.
    - `LatencyLowMark` string: After throttling is enabled, sets the level to which the number of outstanding requests must drop before throttling is disabled.
    - `BandwidthLimit` string: Bandwidth limit setting
    - `PacketSize` integer: Number of bytes in a packet that is sent to a secondary RLINK
    - `Protocol` 'TCP' | 'UDP': Indicates the network transport protocol that is used by RLINKs for communicating between hosts
    - `DataVolumes` object[]: Data volumes
      - `VolId` string: Link of Data volume or vset being replicated
  - `DataVolumes` object[]: Data volumes
    - `VolId` string: Link of Data volume or vset being replicated (Prefix with '!' for delete volume PATCH operation)
  - `SrlVolumeId` string, uri: Srl volume link
  - `Encrypted` boolean: Specifies if encryption is enabled or not for the RVG
  - `ConfigErrors` string: Configuration errors in the Replicated Data Set (RDS)
  - `LocalHost` string: Local host in the Replicated Data Set (RDS)
  - `Operations` Operation[]: Operations to be performed on a particular rvg
    - `Name` string: Operation name
    - `href` string, uri: Link to the operation
