# Patch Sync Settings

`PATCH /extensions/jira-assets/config/sync`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/extensions/jira-assets/config/sync`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Updates only the automatic-sync settings; connection fields are left untouched. Requires the jira-assets extension to be enabled for the organization and the extension.admin permission (Admin); 403 otherwise.

  - `sync_enabled` boolean
  - `sync_interval_hours` integer

## Response `200`

Updated sync settings ({ sync_enabled, sync_interval_hours })

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error (no field given, non-boolean sync_enabled, or sync_interval_hours outside 1-168)
- `403`: Extension not enabled for this organization, or role not allowed
- `404`: No Jira connection saved yet
- `500`: Internal server error
