# List data retention settings

`GET /data-retention`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/data-retention`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns how long each kind of record is kept for the organization (audit records, AI gateway logs, Agent Control logs, model risk management metrics, evidence files, Shadow AI data, server logs), the latest cleanup per type, and the point the audit ledger has been pruned through. Admin only.
