# Preview audit record cleanup

`GET /data-retention/audit-records/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/data-retention/audit-records/preview`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns how many audit records would be deleted now if the given retention period (months: 12, 24, 36, 60, 84 or 120) were applied. Read-only. Admin only.

Success

- `400`: Invalid retention period
- `403`: Admin access required
- `500`: Internal server error
