# Create webhook endpoint

`POST /webhooks`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://verifyref.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://verifyref.com/api/v1/webhooks`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Requires a prior credit purchase on the team. Secret is returned once.

## Request body

- CreateWebhookRequest
  - `url` string, uri, required: Must be HTTPS
  - `events` WebhookEvent[], required

## Response `201`

Webhook created with secret

- CreateWebhookResponse
  - `webhook` object
    - `id` string
    - `url` string
    - `events` WebhookEvent[]
    - `active` boolean
    - `secret` string: Shown only on creation — store securely
    - `createdAt` string, date-time
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `403`: Team has not purchased credits
