# Free trial passage fact-check — no key, no payment.

`POST /v1/verify/passage/trial`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.verify-api.dev`
- URL: `https://api.verify-api.dev/v1/verify/passage/trial`
- Auth: none required

Disabled by default pending trusted-ingress and release verification. Check /v1/release for enabled status. When enabled: at most 1,000 whitespace-separated words, 20,000 characters and six claims; consumes three shared trial slots by default. Two active requests per process with at most two concurrent claims each. The passage deadline stops new work, but awaits work already started; it is not a response-time guarantee.

## Response `200`

Trial passage result.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input.
- `429`: Trial limit or process capacity reached.
- `503`: Trial not enabled.
