# Revoke an API key

`DELETE /api/v1/keys/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://verifly.email`
- URL: `https://verifly.email/api/v1/keys/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete/revoke an API key. You cannot delete the key currently being used to authenticate the request.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Key deleted.

  - `message` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `404`: Resource not found or not owned by the authenticated account.
