Read the municipal property tax / VACANT LAND TAX (VLT) register for any Tamil Nadu urban local body OUTSIDE Chennai (a corporation, municipality or town panchayat) by the ASSESSMENT NUMBER printed on the tax receipt, e.g. "162/028/910060" (local body/ward/serial, slashes required). Returns the assessee, ward, the survey number the assessment is recorded against, the demand rows with VACANT LAND TAX shown separately from building property tax, what is collected and what is outstanding. Use for "is vacant land tax paid", "VLT dues", "property tax for assessment 162/028/910060", "காலி மனை வரி". Not for Chennai (the Chennai property tax bill lookup takes zone, ward and bill) and not for land revenue / kist (rural land pays kist to the VAO; there is no online record of it). Optionally pass survey_number to have the register's survey checked against the plot in question. Costs 1 credit per call, waived when nothing is found.
