Survey number history. direction "old_to_current": an OLD survey number (from a pre-resurvey deed, "R.S. No.", "old S.No", UDR-era number) in, the CURRENT parcels it became out, with their present owners: use for "my deed says survey 186/4 but the patta says 45/4", "what did old survey 59/1 become", "which T.S. number replaced R.S. 1017/114". direction "current_to_old": a current survey number in, the earlier number the register records for it out. Needs the revenue codes, from the free place-name lookup (district_code, taluk_code and village_code for a village; district_code, taluk_code and town_code for a town survey town). Explains the Updating Registry (UDR, 1979 to 1987) renumbering when asked what UDR means. Costs 1 credit per call, waived when nothing is found.

  - `register` 'rural' | 'urban': Optional: "urban" says village_code is really a town code (the minis cascade passes it this way)
