Recorded road WIDTH in metres of a COIMBATORE or SALEM corporation street by name (road width is the gate for what can be built: FSI and building type under TNCDBR), with its ward, the street's guideline land classification and the city it is in. Use for "how wide is [street] in Coimbatore / Salem", "can my Coimbatore / Salem street take an apartment building", "which ward is this street". Chennai (GCC) streets are in the same register with zone, ward, locality, classification and MTC bus route, but NO road width is recorded for any Chennai street: never promise or estimate a Chennai width from this tool; the width of a road beside a Chennai plot is a separate road width measurement taken from the cadastral map. Pass city when the user names one (coimbatore, salem or chennai) so a street name two cities share resolves to the right one; area narrows Chennai streets only (Coimbatore and Salem rows carry a ward, no locality). 1 credit only when a width is returned; a street with no recorded width, which includes every Chennai street, is not charged. Costs 1 credit per call, waived when nothing is found.
