# Look up a RERA registered project

Look up a Tamil Nadu RERA registered PROJECT and return its record: registration number, promoter, registration date, promised completion / possession date, current status, project address and the document links (Form C, approval details, carpet area statement, Form A, promoter and project detail PDFs, status PDF) where the register holds them. Searches all four project registers at once: current RERA buildings and layouts plus the older offline (legacy) registers. Use for "is this project RERA registered", "what is the RERA number for <project>", "when is possession / completion date", "show me the Form C", "show the approval details", "RERA projects by <builder> in Chennai", "registered layouts in Coimbatore 2023". Pass query as the project name, the RERA registration number (TN/29/Layout/1234/2023, with dashes is fine) or any phrase from the address. Narrow with promoter, city / district (see the caveat), status, type or year. CAVEAT the answer must repeat: the registers have no city or district column, so city / district match the address text, and on the current register the only address stored is the PROMOTER office address, not the site. A builder background check across violation and complaint registers is the separate promoter dossier; RERA agents, complaints and regularised layouts are the separate RERA records search; registered layouts near a map point are the separate approved-layout check. Costs 1 credit per call, waived when nothing is found.

  - `promoter` string: Promoter / builder / developer name, matched on its own
  - `city` string: City or locality. Matched against the address text, since no city column exists.
  - `district` string: District. Also matched against the address text.
  - `status` 'completed' | 'not_completed': completed = the status text says completed or finished. not_completed = everything else, INCLUDING projects whose status the register left blank.
  - `type` 'all' | 'building' | 'layout': Building projects, plot layouts, or both (default all)
  - `source` 'all' | 'online' | 'legacy': Current RERA register, the older offline register, or both (default all)
  - `year` integer: Registration year

The envelope: ok, status, data, credits_charged, balance_after, request_id

## Other responses

- `401`: No valid credential
- `402`: Not enough credits
- `429`: Rate limit
