# Find the master plan sheet for a place

Find the CMDA master plan or Detailed Development Plan (DDP) MAP SHEET that covers a place, and return the link that opens the plan. Use for "master plan map for Ambattur", "DDP sheet for my area", "show me the CMDA land use map", "where can I see the development plan", "is there a detailed development plan for Nungambakkam", "which plan sheet covers Sholinganallur". Covers the Chennai Metropolitan Area only, across the Chennai Corporation wards and DDP areas, the municipalities (Avadi, Tambaram, Pallavaram, Poonamallee, Sembakkam, Pammal, Anakaputhur, Thiruverkadu), the panchayat unions (Kattankulathur, Kunrathur, Minjur, Poonamallee, Puzhal, Sholavaram, Sriperumbudur, St Thomas Mount, Thiruvallore, Villivakkam, Cantonment) and the town panchayats. IMPORTANT, this returns the PLAN DOCUMENT, not a zone verdict: if the user wants to know which land use zone a specific plot or coordinate falls in (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural), that is the zone check with subject "master_plan" or "cmda_landuse" instead. Outside the Chennai Metropolitan Area the plan is a DTCP master plan, which this tool does not hold. Free.

## Request body

  - `area` string: Place name the plan should cover: a Chennai neighbourhood or ward (Ambattur, Nungambakkam, Velachery), a village, a municipality or a town panchayat. Free text, pass the place only.
  - `body_type` 'corporation' | 'municipality' | 'town_panchayat' | 'panchayat_union': Restrict to one class of local body. Pass only when the user names it, e.g. "town panchayat plan". Omit to search all four.

## Other responses

- `401`: No valid credential
- `402`: Not enough credits
- `429`: Rate limit
